We are in san blas/panama (next to porvenir in the phone area. Phone on board +507 65366032)and we will stay here for relax and some maintenance works on the ship untill beginning of Dezember. So no cruises between panama and colombia in this time!

There are several other boats sailing in between panama and cartagena. You find there infos in the backpacker-hostals. We recomand the yacht "seeadler" with guido and silvia who are friends of us. For people who want to relax a while in this great archipelago on "STAHLRATTE" visiting kuna indians villages, beautifull islands and beaches with excellent snorkeling, you can stay for 30$ us per day including food and drinks (except alcoholic beverages, soda). We help you to get a transport to "STAHLRATTE" in san blas this will not be a sailing trip!!! We are anchored the most of the time in absolutely quiet anchorages! we have a zodiac, a little sailboat for everybodys use on board, snorkeling-gear, lots of DVD, several music instruments.....

Everybody on board helps for cooking and cleaning!!!

the 10th of october we sailed back to san blas and there we stay untill beginning of january. there are three persons on board now and if anybody wants to spent a time on the ship in san blas around el porvenir get in contact with info.steelrat@les-raisting.de

We are still in Cartagena and are looking forward to go back to San Blas on the 10th of October. We finished our job on the movie a few days ago. It was just a little scene where a row-boat is rowing out to the ship, while we were putting the staysail. Since Klaus left the ship here in Cartagena, we are now looking for 2 or 3 people to help us bring the Stahlratte back to Panama.
