Yesterday we had a discussion about what we are doing on new years eve. Some of the guests got a paradise-island-coller. But no attractiv town near by and so we decided to visit nargana, two islands conected with a bridge, three bars and a billard table. Nearly 1000 kunas live here. In the night we saw at the horizont a big fire and today we heard that one island is burning down. Nobody got killed or hurt but no more trees and cottages left.

Because we like to snorkel we change from Islas Carti to Isla Aucho a small beautiful Barcadi-Island with a picturebookbeach. It's private and belongs to a hotel made by kunas. Three palmhuts the hotel offers. Nobody except a very few day tourists we met today and so this fucking nice island was good for a Robinson Crusoe feeling. All guests and crew are sleeping, thick and full wiht pizza, except a youngster, looking DVD and myself.

May be we have tomorrow white christmas.....

20.12.2006: endlich raus aus porvenir... raus aus der einflugschneise des internationalen großflughafens, mindestens drei flieger täglich. Von morgens bis nachmittags, arlarm pur! Nach einem ausgiebigen frühstück wurden wir von kunas überfallen, die uns obst und fisch zu akzeptablen überhöhten preisen zukommen ließen. Lecker lecker. Skorbut du kriegst uns nicht! Für fisch-freundInnen es gab rotbarsch und thunfisch. Gott sei dank nicht schon weider lobster. um zwei sind wir richtung islas carti losgeschippert. Die jungs (torsten, uwe, und luca - wer immer die kennen mag – ganz alleine (!) den anker losgedingends und die maschine angeworfen. Auf der überfahrt haben wir gerade mal einen delphin gesehen, den wir allerdings durch unser aufgeregtes gekreische sofort verjagt haben. An den inseln wurden wir freundlichst von eologio und seinen zwei kleinen freunden (kevin und jean) empfangen und haben gleich einen kleinen vortrag über die geschichte und kultur der kuna bekommen haben. Heute gibt's rotbarsch und dann ein bierchen bei eologio. Oder zwei?!gruß von allen an ALLE! P.S: brauchen bundesliga-ergebnisse

Today 2 guests from france and holland leave and also crissy, one of our crewmember. In two month hard education her growing real sealegs. The rest of the crew wish her a nice comming home and the time in future to join the steelrat again. Now we are in porvenir until tomorrow. Then we sail to Isla Carti where we expect Klausi who is in Panama-city to buy special food for the celebrationdays.

The last nine passengers arrived today with Air Madrid, but now there is no way home, because A.M. is out of business. So we decide after some welcome drinks to do the job by our self. Greatings from Toddel, Gabi, Uwe, Marlies and Diana to the poor friends, who have to stay at home.

Allwedder in the cocos banderos and the sun is burning. The hull of the "rat" has been cleaned by apio and his gang. The crew cleaned theirself too and spend their time with a lot of small, but important works. :-)) The guests are snorkeling and their skin becomes the colour of boiled lobsters. Too young too sunny. No message found in bottles drifting on the way from cartagena. So we think about it, to burn a fire in the evening, and have a look in the firewaterbottle to find the message we looking for. Day 8 in the evening we will be in the phoneaera. If anybody feel boring or need a souldoctor give us a call.

03:00 am Crissy watch out, Klauzi sleeping, passengers lost their face and feed the fishes. Fullmoonnight, 4 Boufort, the waves coming from schraeg achtern and make the boat dancing. Nice sail that give us 6 knots speedy. Tomorrow night is will be time for the Blasen. Day 8 in the evenig we enter Porvnenir. Time to meet us for Blasen-Fun and live the Kuna-Blues.
